Bradford Law School End of Semester Trip: Flamingo Land, North Yorkshire
In June 2010 a group of Bradford Law School students celebrated the end of term at Yorkshire theme park, Flamingo Land. Despite the lack of sunshine, the rain failed to dampen spirits as students made the most of all of the activities on offer at the park.

Most students enjoyed the thrill of rollercoaster rides such as “Rat”, “Corkscrew” and the "Log Flume" . When the adrenaline wore off they were also able to enjoy the Sponge Bob 4D ride and leisurely train journey. For those who preferred wildlife, there were rhinos, giraffes, zebras and tigers on show in the zoo.
All students enjoyed the day to let their hair down after the stress of their final assessments. International student Mohammed Usman had a fantastic time at the park and said “Thank you to the teachers for the opportunity to come on this trip, everything has been great.” He even explained that the weather had improved the day since the queues for rides had been shorter than usual, he said “I love the rain!”
