Facilities

The Law School is located in the Lister Building on Carlton Street. All our facilities have recently been refurbished with the latest technology and include a 110 seat lecture theatre, seminar rooms and dedicated computer rooms. We are only a few minutes walk from Grove library which includes a dedicated law library and Court room.

Law students have a choice of 2 stylish cafés in the Lister Building complex; Café Talk on the same floor as the Law corridor and also the Yorkshire Craft Centre Café.

The Lister Building is just behind the main Westbrook campus, adjacent to Arkwright Halls of Residence, providing a quality accommodation for those who want a very short walk to lectures in the morning. We are also just a short stroll from the city centre with its excellent bus and rail connections, National Media Museum, Alhambra Theatre and St George's Hall, cinemas, restaurants, bars, clubs and, of course, the city courts.
