Staff v students rounders competition in aid of Race for Life/Cancer Research UK
On 12th May 2010, in an effort to boost sponsorship for the Bradford Law School Race for Life fund, seven members of Law School staff and over 20 students went head to head in a rounders tournament.

Three matches in total were played between three teams comprised of staff members and students from across all of the Law School degree and foundation degree programmes. The event was organised by first year student Vakaas Ahmed who said "this event was great fun. Not only did we raise money for charity but it was a welcome break from our gruelling revision schedules and a chance to let off steam!"

All participants had fun and contributed to the team effort, regardless of the level of rounders ability. Even the drizzle could not dampen the spirits. However inevitably, despite the best efforts of the students, the fantastically athletic staff team won the tournament with a total of nearly thirty rounders between them!
