Bradford Law School win "Team of the Year"
Bradford Law School are delighted to announce that they are the proud winners of one of the annual Bradford College Staff Awards for Excellence.
The Awards for Excellence were the vision of Principal Michele Sutton OBE, three years ago. Michele presented the Law Team with their award for the "Team of the Year" on 24th March 2010.
What is particularly fulfilling about winning the award is that the nominations were made by current students and colleagues. Programme Manager Darran Chapple said "we are delighted to win this award in recognition of our hard work, quality of provision and support for our students."
The Law School won the "Team of the Year Award" for the significant and positive impact that the team have had on the learners’ experience – through the development of teaching and learning structures and strategies. This includes developing the use of electronic resources within the classroom, innovative assessment techniques and their pioneering work on the Virtual Learning Environment, Moodle. Law Lecturer Leyla Jackson said: “It is a privilege that we have won this award. We are really proud of our achievements this year, in particular pushing forward Moodle and e-assessments.”
